Q. What is SacredAudio.com?
A. SacredAudio.com seeks to offer a Christian alternative to the secular music world. Our goal is to create a central repository of Christian music where we sell sacred music in a digital format at reasonable rates.
Q. How does it work?
1. You find a CD that you like.
2. You pay for it with a credit card.
3. You download it.
Q. What can I use to play the digital music?
A. Handheld music players such as Apple iPods, PCs using software such as Apple iTunes or Windows Media Player, Pocket PCs, and CD-Rs are all good ways to transport digital music.
Q. In what format do you offer music and why?
A. SacredAudio.com uses high quality Variable Bit Rate (VBR) MP3 files. Our VBR MP3s range between 170Kbps and 210 Kbps.
Q. Once I download the music, it's mine to do as like, such as sharing it with my friends or family members, right?
A. Sorry, but no. Every song featured on SacredAudio.com is copyrighted. Songs purchased on SacredAudio.com are to be used for personal use only. Here are the highlights of our Terms of Service. Please see our "Terms and Conditions of Use" page for complete details.

1. The items you download are copyrighted, and your purchase gives you the right to use them personally. You can’t make copies for your friends, relatives, or anyone. This is your stuff! If you break the law, you are responsible.
2. You can only use downloaded music, video, or audiobook on one device at a time. You can keep a copy on up to 5 devices (including an archive copy), but you can’t have more than one in use at a time.
3. Keep your username and password confidential. Let us know if you think someone else is using your login.
4. Don’t try to mess with the web site. If we catch you (and we have our ways), you’re in trouble.
5. Any links on the site are for your convenience, and they don’t mean we endorse everything on the linked site.

Q. What do you recommend for people with slow internet connections?
A. We recommend that users with slow internet connections download their files overnight (presuming your ISP doesn’t automatically time out).
Q. What credit cards do you accept?
A. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
Q. Is there any tax on my download?
A. Yes and No. Although South Carolina law does not consider downloadable music as taxable, more than half of the 50 states in the U.S. do charge sales tax on downloadable music. Since our physical presence in only in South Carolina, we do not charge tax. However, this does not alleviate your tax liability. If you live in one of the states that do charge the tax, you are liable to file your purchases on your income tax return under a "Sales and Use Tax" or similar section. Please see your state’s tax rules for more information about your state’s specific laws.
Q. How do I purchase Gift Certificates?
A. Gift Vouchers are purchased just like any other item in our store. You can pay for them using the stores standard payment method(s). Once purchased the value of the Gift Voucher will be added to your own personal Gift Voucher Account. If you have funds in your Gift Voucher Account, you will notice that the amount now shows in the Shopping Cart box, and also provides a link to a page where you can send the Gift Voucher to some one via email.
Q. How do I email Gift Certificates?
A. To send a Gift Voucher that you have purchased, you need to go to our Send Gift Voucher Page. You can find the link to this page in the Shopping Cart Box in the right hand column of each page. When you send a Gift Voucher, you need to specify the following:
The name of the person you are sending the Gift Voucher to.
The email address of the person you are sending the Gift Voucher to.
The amount you want to send. (Note you don't have to send the full amount that is in your Gift Voucher Account.)
A short message which will apear in the email.
Please ensure that you have entered all of the information correctly, although you will be given the opportunity to change this as much as you want before the email is actually sent
Q. How do I redeem my Gift Certificate?
A. If you receive a Gift Voucher by email it will contain details of who sent you the Gift Voucher, along with possibly a short message from them. The Email will also contain the Gift Voucher Number. It is probably a good idea to print out this email for future reference. You can now redeem the Gift Voucher in two ways.
1. By clicking on the link contained within the email for this express purpose. This will take you to the store's Redeem Voucher page. you will the be requested to create an account, before the Gift Voucher is validated and placed in your Gift Voucher Account ready for you to spend it on whatever you want.
2. During the checkout procces, on the same page that you select a payment method there will be a box to enter a Redeem Code. Enter the code here, and click the redeem button. The code will be validated and added to your Gift Voucher account. You Can then use the amount to purchase any item from our store
Q. How do I purchase items using Gift Certificates?
A. If you have funds in your Gift Voucher Account, you can use those funds to purchase other items in our store. At the checkout stage, an extra box will appear. Clicking this box will apply those funds in your Gift Voucher Account. Please note, you will still have to select another payment method if there is not enough in your Gift Voucher Account to cover the cost of your purchase. If you have more funds in your Gift Voucher Account than the total cost of your purchase the balance will be left in you Gift Voucher Account for the future.
